Chesson Labs’ proprietary products in development are all based on innovative polymer-based patented and patent pending technology. Chesson Labs’ polymer solutions have unique properties that make these future products non-toxic and safe for use. Our products include medical devices and topical treatments for use by consumers and medical professionals.

The first two products which are projected for submission to the FDA for market clearance are detailed below.

NuvaDerm

Liquid Skin Bandage

NUVADERM is a new liquid skin bandage product with many features and benefits. NUVADERM is designed to help keep cuts and abrasions clean and dry, helping protect them from infection. NUVADERM dries to form a non-toxic, hydrophobic, elastomeric coating that provides a barrier against moisture and that is permeable to oxygen. The coating is biocompatible and forms a tough yet pliable seal, preventing cracking and peeling as the skin heals. NUVADERM has 3 primary target markets. Consumer, Professional, and Animal Health Care.

LiquiCure

Nail Fungus treatment

LIQUICURE is a biocompatible Onychomycosis topical treatment. Onychomycosis is a fungal infection of the nail, which is estimated to affect up to 25% of the world’s population. Treatment of fungal nail infections is expensive, long-term, and oftentimes harmful to the patent when treated orally.

Chesson Labs is currently undergoing a clinical trial in which it believes efficacy rates surpassing currently available topical treatments should be demonstrated. LIQUICURE contains no added drugs or antimicrobial agents, but acts by changing the conditions that allow fungal growth, eliminating the side effects sometimes caused by oral antifungal treatments.

At Chesson Labs, our scientists are constantly working to discover and bring to market new and exciting medical care products. Our pipeline is continually increasing as we develop new products, and learn more about applications for our current products through research and clinical trials. Chesson Labs currently has a dermatitis treatment in development and has plans to develop burn, chronic and advanced wound care, and transdermal drug delivery products. Anecdotal evidence suggests that our products will surpass the efficacy of currently available applications for all of our focus markets. The potential claims will be rigorously tested in laboratory assays and in human trials for submission to the FDA.
