John T. Bray, Ph.D.
Dr. Bray was a founding partner of Metrics, Inc. in 1994, where he retired as Executive Vice President and Director of Plant Operations. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in chemistry from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, and master’s and doctoral degrees in chemical oceanography and geochemistry, respectively, from The Johns Hopkins University.

John R. Iredale, D.P.M.
Dr. Iredale is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He serves as Chief of Podiatry at the North Carolina Specialty Hospital, and is a staff member in the department of orthopedics at Durham Regional Hospital. Dr. Iredale received his D.P.M. from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.

Warren S. Joseph, D.P.M.
Dr Warren S. Joseph is a podiatric attending at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and at the Coatesville VA Medical Center and a consultant in the treatment of lower extremity infectious diseases. He received his podiatric degree, magna cum laude, from W.M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago.  Dr Joseph is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and sits on the IDSA Diabetic Foot Infection Guidelines Committee. He is also certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine, and currently serves as Editor of the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Jeff C. Leung, Ph.D.
Dr. Leung, President of Medvizon Consulting, is a seasoned, entrepreneurial scientific executive and manager with extensive start-up experience in technology development and commercialization. He led discovery and innovations in the successful commercialization of two distinct “game-changing technologies”: Contour Threads at Quill Medical, and Dermabond at Closure Medical. Dr. Leung received his Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Richard K. Scher, M.D., FACP
Dr. Scher is a Professor of Dermatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  In addition he serves as Professor Emeritus of Dermatology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Scher is a Past-President and Vice-President of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is internationally recognized as an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of nail disorders and nail surgery. He established specialty nail clinics at NYU, Columbia, and Brown which continue to be successful and actively functioning. He has published or co-edited five textbooks on nail disorders and written well over two hundred articles and book chapters. Currently,  Dr. Scher is in the process of developing a nail program at the University of North Carolina. He is a former Chief Editor of Dialogues in Dermatology and served on many editorial boards including Journal of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology, American Journal of Dermatopathology, Cutis, Skin and Aging, and many others. He has been a member of the Society of Investigative Dermatology for over three decades. Dr. Scher graduated from New York University (BA), Brooklyn College Graduate School (MA in Biochemistry), and received his MD degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. He trained in Dermatology at New York University Medical Center, including Skin and Cancer and Bellevue Hospitals, where he also obtained a MS degree (Dermatology) from New York University Post-Graduate Medical School and Hospital. Dr. Scher is the recipient of an Honorary Master of Arts degree from Brown University in Providence, RI.

Michael J. Suah, M.D.
Dr. Suah is a practicing dermatologist in Ormond Beach, Florida and is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. He received a B.S. in Medical Technology from the Howard University College of Allied Health and obtained his medical degree from the Howard University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Dr. Suah’s postgraduate training took place at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he was a resident in the Emergency Medicine and Dermatology departments and attained the status of Chief Resident in Dermatology.

Dhiren R. Thakker, Ph.D.
Dr. Thakker is the Ferguson Distinguished Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the School of Pharmacy, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He is a co-founder of Qualyst, a company formed based on the technologies invented at the School of Pharmacy, UNC-Chapel Hill.  Dr. Thakker joined UNC in 1996.  Prior to that he spent eight years at Glaxo Inc. where he was Director of Drug Metabolism Department, eight years at the National Institutes of Health, and four years at the Center for Biologics, FDA. Dr. Thakker’s current research interests are in mechanisms of drug transport across Intestinal Epithelium, cytochrome P450-mediated drug metabolism, and pediatric drug disposition.  He has also worked in the area of methyl transferase enzymology, stereoselectivity of cytochrome P-450 enzymes, chemical carcinogenesis and metabolic activation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.  He has published over 140 peer reviewed papers, reviews and book chapters and co-edited two books. Dr. Thakker obtained Bachelor of Pharmacy from Bombay University, India, M.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Columbia University, New York, and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas.
